My husband and I paid for our limo service for our wedding a few months in advance. We had the cleared checks and everything. The limo driver showed up over 30 minutes late. We paid for "wedding night limo package" which according to contract included champagne, flowers, and a red carpet.
The champagne was a cheap bottle of sparkling wine. The driver did not get out of her car at the reception site to do the "red carpet". She did put out a "red rug" at the hotel. (the late night valet parking attendants were really impressed).
I don't recall if there were any flowers. We tipped the driver $50 cash after she dropped us at our hotel (2 miles away from the reception site) and told her to go back to our reception and the wedding party could use the limo for the remaining 3 hours for which we had already paid.
She went back to the site and told my family and guests that no one had paid for the limo and that she needed another $150.00 cash. I found out about this the day after the wedding and when I contacted Budget Limo, they told me that they were not going to give me my money back.
