5-20-12 My new husband rec. A call from a Credit Collector for my MRS only account. I was 9 days late on payment. I truly did not rec. Statement, no excuse, I should have kept up with it. My office flooded from office above and this was not my first concern.
Point of complaint: The collector ask my husband if I was there. He replied no and was asked if he was my husband. He said yes.
He was told that I was behind on my JCPenny account and did he want to pay the $62.00 due. He said no. He would give me the message. They had NO Right to speak with him. He does not know my debit nor I him. This is a Mrs. Only account. No Where on my cards is his name nor the application filled out 20 yrs ago. I always pay within days of my statements and pay more than due.
Point being again: I worked with abusive relationships. If my husband was abusive, this could have caused major harm to me or any other person who was given this info without their consent. Where Is The Privacy? I have sent certified letter to CEO Mike Ullam III at JCPenny. I know of privacy acts since I work in my husband's dental pracitice.
