Called Dish TV to schedule installation. I gave them my name, phone number, my cell number social security number, address. I gave them permission to check my credit. They said I have great credit scores. They asked for my credit card number. They charged me 54. Xx for the installation. They gave me an account number they were to come out today 5/20 between noon and 5:00 P.M. I called a few times to see where was I in line to be contacted. The computer stated my phone number did not match any active files. I put the account number in. I was told they were calling my old phone number. I gave them again my home and cell phone numbers. They said the installer would call me directly back. I called and spoke with Brook, ID W3B and stated that I wanted to cancel after they told me that they would be able to install me on May 21 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. And 12:00 P.M.
Brook, ID# W3B told me she would sure hate to see me loose my account. Is there anyone else I would like to give my account to. I told her no. I asked her is there anyone she would like to give the account to. She said her cousin. I said, excuse me. Is this your normal business practices. To give someone my account number. I told her I wanted to speak with her supervisor. She put me on the phone with ALEX ID 4TC. I asked Alex why would Brook ask me if I wanted to give my account number to someone else. He said, "Maybe I had a family member or a friend I wanted to help out. I said excuse me. You just said I had excellent credit, "Why would I want to risk my credit score with someone who could not get cable on their own. Alex stated, "I may have wanted to be nice." I asked to speak with his supervisor, Andrew, "Who stated that Dish TV only asks that if a person has had the account number for a long time and they wanted to help out a family friend. I told them that if anything is on my credit report, I would sue them. I told them, Do you know how long it took me to get a credit score of 834 and you are telling me you would give my account to someone else just so that you would be able to get $44 a month from someone. Is this your normal business practices.
What kind of crap is this? I am afraid for my privacy. I am afraid for my credit score. I am really upset
