I am based in Bahrain and I am not a Citibank customer however someone has accidently put my mobile number in their database and I am receiving sms at odd hours for the other customer. I have already complaint 3 times to Citibank Customer Service. One can check their telephone records if need may be. Every time they say a sorry and assure me that my mobile number will be removed from their databse but I am still receiving sms. I also got a call from Dubai head office assuring me that I will not receive sms henceforth but still nothing was done about it. I am disgusted that is it so difficult to remove a mobile no. From their information? RnFirstly it is a complete breach of confidentiality on the hands of Citibannk who boasts of best services and a big name but they are so sloppy and irresponsible. Secondly after I complaint not once they looked into the delicacy of the matter Who will trust a bank who openely flashes private information with the credit card details which belongs to their customer to someone who is not even a customer. If someone misuses this information who will be responsible? Its been happening since 4 months. I kept patience but now I need to sort it out. I have no repose from their Customer service hence I am forced to put a complaint online. I do not see any other option.
RnHope I will get some peace? Rn
