Hello, I purchased bus tickets through grayhound for November 21 to go to Georgia to see my boyfriend graduate from basic training. I purchased the tickets online and the website told me to pick up my tickets an hour before my scheduled time to leave. My bus was scheduled to leave at 4:00am. I got to the bus station an hour before to get my tickets and the station was not open. I came back when the station was opened and I had to pay a fee to switch my route times. My new time to leave the station was 9:30am. The bus ened up being almost two hours late, the guy that was working named Corey told me that if i get on that bus i might not make it to my transfer bus in time and i would have to sit there for hours to catch the next bus. Corey looked up a different route to try to help me, but the route that was left to take would have made me late for what i was going to Georgia for. Since i wouldnt have made it on time i chose not to go. Corey called to get the ok on giving me a refund right there and he got the approval to do so but the computer wouldnt let him. I am writing this letter explaining my situation so i could get a full refund for my tickets. I have called many of times to try to get a refund and they keep telling me that they gave me a second route to take and I chose not to take it so yes it was my choice on not going. I would have taken the secound route if it would have gotten me there on time, but since it didnt, there was no need to go. Im hoping you understand my situation and can give me a refund on my tickets. Thank you so much for your time.
