Was going over checking account, and found a $29.95 un-authorized check withdrawl from my account. Called the number given for questioning the transaction, 877-781-7082, and gave the person on the telephone the memo number. Found out this was a clearing house for the company Alliance Network. When asked what the service was, I was told, "Access to a Web site." They did not know the name of the website, or any other information about Alliance Network. I was told my Account would be credited within 3 to 5 business days. (lol) My question is how they got my bank account number and routing info. I will have to close the bank account immediately.
