I booked a round-trip flight on Friday, 4/20 from Chicago to Honolulu for my goddaughter for her graduation present. The cost of the ticket was $1025.55 which was higher than her friend had paid for the same trip. I checked fares for the EXACT same flight the following Tuesday and the fare was $865. Today, 4/30, the same fare is $844.40. I called to get a credit back for the difference and they told me I would have to pay a $150 change fee to get the $181 back! What a horrible customer experience to rip people off because I happened to book on a Friday instead of a Tuesday?
