I ordered a vehicle report for $2.95. I received the report and believed that the relationship was terminated. On 04/14 I audited my card card statements and noticed that I had been charged $29.99 for January, February, March and April. I called the company and was told that I had never cancelled the contract and had 19 available searches that I could use.
I asked for the mailing address of the company but was informed that the representative could not provide that information. When I stated that I needed the information so that the New York Attorney General could look into the matter, I was offered and accepted a refund for the April charge.
It is my intention to pursue this matter further.
