We were contacted by United Services Group and told that they could get us a loan modification or securitization. We started the process in early December because the information they provided was so compelling. I'm embarrassed to say that we paid them nearly $5,000. We stopped hearing from them in mid January. We started a formal investigation with the local District Attorney's office.
Then, out of nowhere, we got a call from Greg Paramore of Advanced Loan Processing, stating that USG had gone out of business and that they were taking over their accounts. He said they had a huge backlog and he would do his best to work on our case. He also said he had years of experience in the mortgage industry working on the bank end. He said he was able to see that our loan is not secured, and that we had a great case to renegotiate our loan with our lender.
Then I started getting emails from Devon Clarke. She had us sign a Third Party Authorization form so that they could negotiate with our lender. She also requested several documents from us. It's now been well over two weeks since I've been leaving her phone messages and emails, practically begging her to respond. We are now several months behind on our mortgage, and out the $5,000 we paid them.
Does anyone know if there is a plan for a class action lawsuit? I'd love to be involved!
