I was contacted by a Thomas Powell representing United Services Group on October 19 and was cheerfully told I could get a loan modification and he and his company would handle the entire matter for me. I was told I should pay no more to my mortgage company until the new payments were in place. I talked frequently to many people, had letter confirmations on a very professional looking letter head. They even sent me an estimated amount I could expect with modification. I spent around $100.00 faxing material they told me they needed for this approval. When I began getting default payment letters from my morgage company they assured me they were handling it and I should not worry. Company name was changed and I was told all the folks who were with United Services Group were not setting into their new spots with Advanced Loan Processing and the modification would continue as before, no problems. When I got a letter in 2 that my mortagage company was going to forclose on my home I called all of my contacts at Advanced Loan Processing and even sent emails, with no response. I called the mortgage company to find out that no one was working with them and so I am trying now to save my home. I see other complains that tell my story and I will be calling the FBI # given by another person just this month. I am just heart sick that I could loose my home and that I may have lost a huge sum of money with little chance of regaining it. Kathy
