I did not get scam, but i almost did. So i want to report this person all over the news so he want try to scam anyone else. I got a phone from this guy saying he was from the government and i was picked from the state of ga saiding that the government was giving away grants that i did not have to pay back, it is free money for me to pay off bills or whatever i want to do with it. Then i begin to get suspious an started to investagate, so he ask me for my bank card account so he could tranfer the money to my account. Then i ask him was there any other way that i could receive the money and he said that i could use a pre-paid card so i brought one, but then once i got it he ask me for $210.00 as a processing fee and wanted me to send it to him by western union. Come to find out he wanted me to send it to him in his name to india. His name is (ashok singh) he told me that the grant was for $7,000 and as soon as i send him the $210.00 that he would tranfer to my pre-paid card. Then i told him to deduct it from the $7,000 and then he told me that he could not do that because it was government money. So i told him to cancel it, because he throught i was foolish enough to give him my my account #. I am reporting this because i don't want anyone to get scamed. This is the # he calls from so everyone beware of him.
