I applied for a loan, which was then approved. I was advised to send three months payments of $151.38 USD in advance any the loan for $5000.00 would then be deposited into my bank account. I sent $454.14 USD and was told by my loan officer Marlene Dawson, that the money would be deposited with 20-45 mins. When the money was not there, I called back, she said let her check into it and she would contact me back. She called back stating that the lender needed more collateral. He wanted another three months security deposit. I advised I did not have that. She stated if I could send her $200 more she would pay the other $254.14 for me. I sent the money it went to Kingston Jamica. The money was not received in my account again. She stated that the lender would not accept the money that she sent as it was not from me. I advised I did not have any more money to send and requested my money back. She stated if could take up to 30 business day for a refund, but. Stated call me on Monday as she stated she would try to back date it to get my money back sooner. When I called she stated it would be 30 business days. Now these business days did not included, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays and my return refund would not be available until March 13. When we contacted them back on March 13, we were then told that we had to send them an additional $170, a processing fee to get our monies returned. I advised if we have to pay this why not just deduct it from the money they already have. They stated they need the money to return my money. I advised the person I was talking to that I was not sending anymore money as I wished to have documented proof that my money would be returned first. The answer I got was that he could not do that as the CEO was not there and would not be there until next week. When I called to talk to him the next day and requested a to speak with a supervisor, he advised me to look up my as. And I would find one. Then he started threatening my family. I just hope other people will see this post and not loose the money that I lost. As I see there is no way to get my money back. I have all of the emails saved between myself and Marlene Dawson including the email stating I would receive my money back on March 13.in which it does not state anything about need to first pay a processing fee. If anyone can help me get this resolved it would be greatly appreciated. I also have all copies of the contract and the western union receipts.
