I applied for a debt consolidation loan through the internet. I received a call from Robert Whitman, he advised me that I was approved for a $10,000 loan. He faxed me over the loan agreements, he did state in order for me to get the loan I needed to make 3 payments, total was $970.00. If agreed to terms, he stated that I would get the loan. I sent the money via money gram to Alberta, Canada. I called him back with the reference number. He stated I would get the money in my account within 24 hours.
The next day I received a call from Edward Fields, he stated he was the supervisor for customer service, he told me that the lender had backed out, he stated that I would need another $970.00 and the money would be in my account in 3 hours. 3 hours passed I called him and told him that the money was not there, he then told me that the lender had backed out again, but he could get be a $15,000 loan if I would send him another $970.00. I told him that I sent everything that I had, I could not do that, I told him that I wanted my money back immediately, he told me that he could not send it back until the 22nd of February, he would overnight a cashiers check and I would get it the 23rd.
This is a total scam, someone needs to stop these people from ripping off other innocent people. I have been calling Edward almost everyday and he guarantees that I will be getting my money back, I don't believe a word he says. Please stop these people.
