I purchased a mattress set, couch and bedroom set from Value City Furniture. I was given a delivery of Wednesday, but I needed my mattresses to sleep on, so I picked them up that Saturday before. Since the door on my apartment wasn't secure, I didn't end up staying there. The door was completely installed on Wednesday, the day the other items was getting delivered. The delivery guys were 2 hours late. I called the office and see what happened, no one could give me information. I called to speak to a store manager, but had to leave a message with the representative in the store. I decided to call again @9pm because I hadn't received a phone call. The store manager did not have much to say. I wasn't told that my bedroom set was on back order until 03/16. I received the couch and the bedroom set. Two hours after the bedroom set was put up, I went into the bedroom to put sheet on the mattress that I never slept on, and I noticed a bug in the corner of the mattress. I began to examine the entire mattress only to find another bug. I video taped the bugs moving and placed them in plastic cups in a sandwich bag. I called the manager the very next day and reported this incident to him. I eventually went to the store to speak with him in person. After an hour, we decided to get a new mattress, $100 more and just to cancel the bedroom set as a refund. The other mattress was to be picked up and traded out for the new one on Saturday. On Friday afternoon, I received a call from another store manager stated that they was not coming to pick up the mattress and that I was liable for getting a exterminator and sending this information to their corporate office. #1- the apartment I moved into is totally rehabbed, no one else has lived here, new carpet, new appliances, newly painted. #2, I didn't see any bug until 2 hours after the delivery guys set the bedroom set up.
