Ordered a number of Golden (Brand) Open Acrylic Paints from BenFranklin.com on February 21.2012. On March 1st I called "Customer Service" regarding the status of my order and got a voice mail about how my call was important - but leave a message. I also followed up with an email on March 1st and provided the order number and my telephone number for follow-up. After 24 hours I had still not heard from "Customer Service" and on March 2nd, placed another phone call and sent a second email.

In the early hours of the morning on March 4 (East Coast time) I received the following email:

"Thank you for your order. This will be delivered to you within the next 10 business days. If you need to receive your product for a special product or event prior to that, please let us know.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you for ordering from Benfranklin.com.

CLEARLY adding ANOTHER ten days to my order is unacceptable. CLEARLY - having a "Customer Service" department where the "service" is determined by "Whatever" is bad business practice.

I have written to "Kathy" and said I want to hear from a LIVE person immediately, or I will file complaints with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, my state's Attorney General and of course, demand a refund.

We will see where this goes, but I am not holding my breath to receive my order (or even my money back) in a timely manner.

I will follow up with a report.
