My signed agreement form with ATT Uverse, including promo discounts, was to be $147 per month with a one-time activation fee of $36.00. My first bill was for $361.00 which was explained to me as 1 month plus 1 month in advance. My total should be $330.00 for those 2 months. Rather than honor the signed agreement, Mr. McCarty (#452SM) said I MUST pay the $361.00 in full. The Service Rep whom I talked with before Mr. McCarthy, applied the discounts on the following bill, for 1 yr. The salesman and the contract has no mention of full rates for first 2 months. Why should I have to pay an extra 31 dollars at ATT's whim? Yes, I got my discounts but they want $31.00 more than agreed on by contract. Mr. McCarty was rude and unwilling to satisfy my request to honor the signed contract. It is a case of misrepresentation and fraudulent sales tactics.
