I discovered a $30. Charge debited to my checking account. I was an external withdrawal by Paytrix / Corporat - E-transact L M ENTERPRISES - MY PAYDAY - HELPDESK 562-508-4886 4586820. Called that number and they referred me to 866-922-9524. I called them to find out exactly what this was for. They said that they were a company that found loans for you. I said that I had never signed up for this service. I was told that my account would be cancelled and that I would receive a refund. It has now been 10 days and no refund. I called again today and spoke to at least 5 people including 2 "supervisors". I requested to speak to someone in the US. I was told that they couldn't guarantee that, and would put me back in the queue.
Each person I spoke with gave me the same story. "I see that on 2/17 your account was cancelled, and a refund request was submitted." No one could tell me how long it would take to actually refund the money. They had no way to connect me to a refund department. I was told by one rep that I could not have access to any "backroom" (her term) numbers. They said there was no refund department that I could speak with. I was repeatedly told that 1) Note would be made in my account record. 2) I should send and email to [email protected]. 3) I should send a fax.
Every excuse in the book was made. One rep told me that she would file and incident report that would get immediate action. When I asked who would see this report, she said it would be her supervisor. I told her that I had just spoken to her supervisor and one supposedly another level up. That had no effect.
They are obviously using a script, or have been trained to give the same answers for each person used the exact same wording in response to my questions.
So basically they tell you that the request for a refund has been made. What they are not saying is that you will ever get your money back.
Still no immediate response from my email. This company is scamming people.
