My friend & I went down to Best Buy Co., Inc., on Dec. 20,
in Oxford, AL, to purchase a computer. And according to
what the salesman told us... Is that we would see a statement
in the mail... in about 30 days (or so). Well, we waited 'til
the end of Jan.. (And still no statement). Finally over
2 wks. Ago, my friend called their office (about this matter), &
the "foreign" sounding girl told me friend (via telephone) that
a statement would be mailed.) But, instead, we got a "notice"
(of a letter) that "late" charges have been added.
And yet, they didn't bother to send any statement to us
so that this could be paid off (on a monthly basis). And we
just don't feel that this is "right" (or honest) to do your
"new" customers this way either.
