Why can't someone shut these folks down? I purchased a 4-day Carnival cruise for $549 with 2 days hotel for 2 on the NBC TODAY Show in Dec. Thought that if the TODAY Show had featured it, it must be legitimate. Not! NBC must not investigate the vendors they talk about.
Called today to book my 4-day cruise for two people with the voucher I had received for my payment of $549 and was told that all of the "ASSIGNED" cabins offered in this package were sold over 30 days ago. But they could "upgrade" me for $416 more to another inside cabin making the total cost of my 4-day cruise $965. Can book that same cabin for right now for $458, without the NBC "Deal" and have not yet looked into the voucher's "featured hotels" and what those "extras" (like costs) may be. What a bait and switch.
I am now out $549 for a "Voucher" whose the items are "no longer available." Rip off or what?
