I purchased a used car with a $900. Down payment. I drove the car home, 120 miles. When i tried turn down the heater the headlights went out. When i turned it again they came on, major electrical problem. The next morning I started the car, it would not go into gear. I called a mechanic that said he would have to go through the tranny to make an accurate determination. While driving down the off-ramp on the hiway I realized the brakes are totally shot. I am on Social Security and do not have the funds required to repair this vehicle. I asked for my down payment of $900. Back and they told me to drop dead. It took a very long time to save this amount, as you can imagine. Now I have no car and no money to buy another one.
