George S May is well known for their overpriced services.
They get their potential client to sign a contract by telling the client he can terminate the contract at any time, all he has to do is personally notify the Project Director. The Project Director gets the assignment started with one or two Staff Executives and then moves on to other projects in other cities across the country.
After a day or two when the client realizes what the project is really going to cost and decides he wants out, the Project Director can't be reached. It may take several days before the Project Director can get back to the client.in the mean time the Staff Executives are told to keep working and the fees continue to pile up.
When the project is finally terminated the client is usually so upset that a portion of the fees are not paid. When fees are not collected the individuals who staffed the job are not paid. So not only does the client get screwed but the George S May employees who staffed the job get screwed also.
As a Staff Executive I not only lost wages but was also not reimbursed for legitimate out of pocket expenses after being told that I would receive the reimbursement.
The lack of integrity is an integral part of the business model of the George S May Company.
