Received an email saying our CA Anti-virus Plus (AV) 2010 Renewal -3 user subscription has been automatically renewed. The following email is a summary of your order. Look for DRI*CA. Comsoftware as the merchant on your credit card statement.in addition to thatt, there was a renewal order number and originial order number. Our name and address, telephone number and of course email address. Then the amount of $49.99.
We went to the bank to cancel this, but we were told that they couldn't do it until it was posted. Then we can go back and send them a complaint.in the mean time we could call to ask them to cancel it. We did and spoke to a woman in India. We explained to her that we had never had this anti-virus and wanted our money refunded. She said it would be within 5-7 days. She also gave us a conformation number that she had done this. She also told me where this company is located. Told her this is a scam. She said that we had gotten this anti-virus from Staples. I bought a computer from Staples years ago, but I didn't have that virus protection and I didn't use the credit card/bank account that we were charged for this time. I would like to have a telephone number to call someone associated with the company in this COUNTRY to tell them about the scam that is going on. We did get an email saying we were no longer enrolled.
