I just got off the phone with this credit card company. They send a bill, you pay total and the next month's bill contains interest even though I paid amount they said was my balance. So I paid off my balance and called to close the account. On the last bill I got, there was a charge of $8.25 for "annual fee 02/12 through 02/12." I told them I expected a refund since the account was closed on January 24. I was told since it was billed on Janauary 5, no refund would be given. How can they charge me an annual fee for the month when I don't have the card!!! This company and their practices are real rip-offs.
