On November 25, I placed an online order (order #45441) with BHM Golf.com for a set of Adams golf clubs for $499.99 $20.00 surcharge. I received an automated email response stating that the order was being shipped direct to me from the manufacturer and my credit card was charged. Several days later, after viewing many negative reviews of BHM Golf, I contacted the manufacturer and was told that they did not have an order for clubs to be shipped to me. I contacted BHM Golf and was told that the clubs were being shipped to the, not to me and that they would ship to me.

On December 8, I contacted them about a status update and received no response. On December 15, I again asked for a status update, again with no response. On December 19th, I attempted to get an update once again. I received a response asking me to call them. On December 20th, I called BHM Golf as requested. They told me they would not be able to supply the set of clubs, but they could supply a 2012 set, but not for a couple of months or more. I stated that if they couldn't supply the clubs within the next week, since they were for a Christmas present, they should give me a refund instead. They said that they would do that. On December 23rd, I sent a response to them asking them to process the refund as promised. There was no response from BHM Golf. On December 26th, I again contacted BHM Golf and an individual who identified himself as an "answering service" told me that there was no one in the office, but discussed the lack of a refund and other particulars with me. He finally stated that the refund wouldn't be processed until Wednesday, December 28th. On Wednesday, December 28th, I contacted BHM Golf and was told that they had processed the refund on Tuesday, December 27th, and that i would receive the refund within 3-5 days. He stated that he would send me an email confirmation that evening, which never materialized. On December 29th, I sent a rsponse to BHM Golf that I would wait and see if therefund was processed within the time frame they specified, and if it wasn't, that I would contact my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

As of this time, the refund has not been credited to my account, nor has there been any additional activity from BHM Golf. During this whole ordeal, I have been extremely cooperative, patient and understanding. BHM Golf has not responded appropriately, nor have they followed through with any of their promises. Since filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, there have been a number of additional responses from this so-called business. They have made a number of committments to supply a refund, but true to form, have not honored any of them. I finally did receive my money back, however, it was not because of anything BHM Golf did or didn't do. Rather, it was a result of the due diligence of my personal banking institution. I am currently getting together all of the imformation I have about these people with the intention of forwarding all to the Illinois State Attorney's office.
