I was offered the Imagine card a few years ago. This past September they 'stopped the program' and closed all accounts. I had just paid another annual fee in August.

I called and asked for a prorated refund and they said they would credit my account for the October bill. It wasn't there, so I emailed and called them again. They said it would be in the November bill. It wasn't again. I have called and emailed again and now they are saying it will be in the February bill. The biggest issue I am having with this is that they closed my account and are continuing to charge a monthly maintenence fee of 9.95 plus interest on the annual premium they were supposed to credit several weeks ago and state they will continue to do so until they can get 'their computer problem' fixed and the credit on the accounts.

They said my only option is to pay the account in full including the amount they are supposed to refund me, and when they get their computer issues fixed in February of next year, they will send me a check for the credit. I do not trust that they will do this and don't feel it's right that I have to continue paying interest and maintence fees on an account they closed for 'business decision' reasons and on an amount that shouldn't be there to begin with.
