I subscribed to the initial car report for $2.95, and received a basic report. It was not obvious that by doing so, I was agreeing to a monthly fee of $29.95 unless I returned to the site later to cancel the monthly subscription. 2 days later I was charged the additional fee. Upon calling the company as soon as the charge appeared on my credit card, to complain I was told that fees are never refundable and there was nothing that could be done to help (in contrast to a legitimate company). Upon repeated requests to speak with a supervisor, I was told there was none there but that my information would be taken and I would be contacted asap. Of course this has never happened. The monthly charged was cancelled at that point so I have not be charged again, but the original "extra" $29.95 charge was never refunded.
