I purchased two warranties from National Electronics Warranty for 2 ipods I purchased from WalMart in November.in December of I submitted claims because both iPods were not working. One was getting a white screen and the other was not holding a charge. Other than the described problems, they were in good condition and had not been misused or abused. National Electronics Warranty returned the items and denied the claim saying that the items had "physical damage". They say that one has "port damage". The port is the most heavily contacted area of the iPod and it is my position that any issues with the port are the result of normal every day wear and tear. They say the other iPod has interior "corrosion damage". The iPods were NOT subjected to any liquids and my position is that any supposed corrosion is the result of normal environmental exposure. The terms and conditions of the warranty state "This plan covers parts and labor costs to repair your product in the event the product fails due to a breakdown, normal wear and tear, dust, heat, humidity and power surges." I bought these warranties assuming the company was an honorable company and am very disappointed and feel cheated and swindled.
