I bought something for my son for Christmas—I never shop at this place, this was the first time I had ever been in there. The clerk asked me if I wanted some VIP card. I said, "Sure, whatever, I have one for petsmart, k-mart, the local grocery store and everywhere else. So I gave my info, thinking I might get coupons in the mail occasionally. I had no idea that they would use my credit card number and hack into my bank account, charging my $11.99 a month. I feel like a butt because I called up my bank and filed a complaint, and had them do a claim. However, while I was waiting for them to finish my claim with the bank, I reseached online and found out who culprit was. I called the FYE company and some foreign call-center dweeb answered and said that I was "not eligible for reimbursement" and that I had given them a "positive response" when asked if I wanted to sign up. Somehow or other, the person that I had given a "positive response" to forgot to tell me that I would be charged each month for... What? The call center Haji dweeb said that he would cancel my account but kept repeating that I was "not eligible for reimbursement." I asked him who I needed to talk to to complain about getting unauthorized charges reimbused. He started babbling, gave me a "confirmation number" and hung up. I think these guys are counting on people not checking their bank statements closely until it's too late, however, I don't make enough money to let that happen. Nevertheless, my dog will go hungry tonight because FYE took my money. How can they do that?
