This letter is being written because there is an employer by the name of TERRY SHULTIS who works at COVENTRY HEALTHCARE IN TAMPA FL at 5130 Eisenhower BLVD who is abusing and mistreating employees whom is on his team. First off upon getting the position he is currently in he was on vacation in New York when he received the news he was promoted. There have been people there at Coventry whom has been there for more than 20 yrs and they did not even get the opportunity to apply for the position which he just got handed. TERRY SHULTIS has no experience in the triage field when it comes to triage workers comp claims as he cannot triage a files on any of the accounts he is supervising. Upon returning back from NY 2 or so weeks after he got the news he did try to sit and learn how to do everyones job, but HE WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. Till this day on 12/29 TERRY SHULTIS cannot triage files over this is so post to be a supervisor over. As a supervisor you are so post to know how to do everyones job on your team so if there are any call outs or any mishaps they themselves can cover the position and business can go ahead without fault. There have been times when yes, people have been out on team this individual would instead of staying and helping with the Triage process work, leave early and have others do the work with overtime offered and he would not even offer to help, he would just say just makes sure it gets done. My question to anyone would be why he would be given a supervisors position if he cannot even do the job himself and he clearly is not a team player.in addition to finding this employee UNUSEFUL he has been making unprofessional and demeaning remarks towards employees on his team. Such remarks include: she is so lazy and useless, If she keeps working so hard she is going to burn herself out, she need to be more productive, it cant be that hard for you to just sit down and work (when there have been times when he has been missing from his desk for more than 4 hours at a time walking around and talking to people). I bet he has a nice package, and finally I am not going to bother to show her anything since she is not going to live long anyway. This person is fighting for her life and he has the nerve to say something like that. There have also been times when he has had people stay late/come in early to do his work for him without a supervisor and or manager there for supervision. Another instance of his lack of supervision or team work would be for ex. The minimum for triage files was 13-15 files in an 8 hrs period. There have been times when many people on his team would do 30 files in hours working through their lunch to complete the work and he would never offer to help or even ask, just say get the work done. TERRY SHULTIS has been reported to the company themselves however no one has even bother to make any contact regarding the claim. TERRY SHULTIS is a liar and should not be in the position he is in right now.
