I found a charge on my T-mobile account for $9.99 from dadamobile. Since it was on my T-mobile bill I called T-mobile to take care of it. They won't stating it was a third party charge. However, I did not authorize any charges or access to my account.
A number was given to me to contact the third party, dadamobile. I did 3 times by phone and have written 2 emails and no response in about 4 months. The only contact was voice mail and no response from emails. I contacted T-mobile explaining that and they simply don't care.
They will not credit my account and say I need to deal with dadamobile. (Even though they are the ones that charged me.) Each company is using each other as a front so it is impossible to track someone down and force someone to take blame.
How did dadamobile get my number? I visited the site. It stated to input my telephone number. Then the website, dadamobile.com, said I would recieve a text message with a FREE ringtone. I recieved a text saying "reply yes for a free text message." I replied yes. That is all it took to sign up for a $9.99/mo. Subscription to dadamobile.com. Nowhere did I agree to a subscription. T-mobile and dadamobile.com had a partnership in this cheating, stealing, and extremely profitable scam.
I have since switched to Verizon after my contract expired and enjoy their service much better.
