Ordered the book, Aftershock, from an infomercial. Then, received 3 "free" newsletters, including the Gold Stock Advisor, the Financial Intelligence Report and the Franklin newsletter. I wanted none of them. I received bills in the mail to "automatically renew" these, and to do so I was to "do nothing". If I didn't want to renew, write cancel on the bill and return. This was 3 separate bills arriving at different times. There was no return envelope. I did cancel, but was charged on my credit card regardless. I will be a lot more careful who I give my credit card information to from now on. This can't be legal - How are they getting away with this??
