We are retired, in our 70's, and we have a Condo at 4201 N 20th St in Phoenix, AZ.

When we returned to the condo this year, we found water damage in our kitchen, and the laminated flooring was damaged and needed to be replaced. We went to our local home depot and we paid $50. To have the measure or the estimate on 04/09. We decided to also have bathrooms done with the same tile, since I had already finished one bathroom with the same laminate as the kitchen. The Materials were not delivered until 06/16,04477-395825v08.
We also decided to have the kitchen cabinets updated at this time. We also applied for a Home Depot Credit Card to get the 10% discount.
Home Depot hired Western States Flooring to install our flooring. Three weeks later, 2 men from Western States Flooring finally came to do the tile, they said it would be best to do the bath floors first, so one of the new toilets could be installed. I had already taken out the toilet and flooring in the master bath. When the Master Bath flooring was done, we called Home Depot to have the toilets installed, as per the agreement. They said they did not have anyone to install the toilets, and told us that we needed to get someone else to do it. This is just one of the many things we didn't get that we had paid for. We pulled the toilet out of the 2nd bath and they put in the flooring. We did get someone else for the toilets. When they started to take up the kitchen laminate, they found some black mold on one of the first pieces. After that, Home Depot did nothing for us.
After all the Mold Removal, We called Home Depot to have the tile installed. It was three weeks before two Western States men showed up, and they did not want to do the flooring, the main reason, the cabinets were sitting on top of the old flooring. They left. So we had to remove the cabinets to get the old flooring up, and prop up the very expensive counter top. We called again, and a third pair of installers came, and they did not want to do it because they would have to work around the props. Home Depot did nothing after the first pair did the bathrooms Many of the charges for the bathrooms were not done. We want to pay for the work done in the bathrooms. Western States Supervisor told us that they would not do the floor. We finally got another installer to do the kitchen floor, and the new cabinets are done.
Home Depot charged the full amount to our new Citibank credit card, without our knowledge or permission. We called and filed Dispute and received a letter dated Aug 3. However when we called Citibank, they told us that the dispute had been settled by Home Depot, again without our permission or notification. We cannot get an acceptable solution in black and white from the people at the store. All we are asking for is a invoice, a receipt, or a list of charges, without charges for the kitchen.
We have been in correspondence with [email protected] and he has sent us several FINAL OFFER emails that are about $400.00 above the bathroom installation charges should be. We have made a table of items and work done. We know that $793.86 is high for installing 66 sq ft of tile in the 2 bathrooms, but WE will pay this and never again go to this Home Depot again. #474
