To Whom It May Concern:
I hired Don Osborne, owner of NJ Rooter on October 27 to install a new gas fired boiler, hot water heater and city water into my home. He was givin a $ 4,000.00 deposit. Balance and permit fee's due apon completion.
Aproximitally two weeks into the project nothing had been done and I had received promise and lie, one after another. There were boiler delivery problems, workers sick, Mr. Osbornes own medical problems etc Finally, at this point, I have had enough and started to feel as if I had been ripped off. I started doing some investigating of my own. I called Dover Township Town Hall to find there were no permits pulled to install new heat and city water. I also called Palermo supply to find out when and if a boiler was being delivered to my home. Sadly enough, a few weeks after the boiler was delivered to my home, I had found out that Mr. Osborne had written a bad check to the supply company.
At least a month and a later the weather had turned cold, tons of money later supplying fire wood and kerosene to heat my home, I had gone down to the Ocean County Court House and filed a complaint, sueing Mr. Osborne for $4,000.00.
Not being satisfied I contacted the Better Business Bueru and made signs, placing them on chairs in the front yard. Aproximatally a day later, Mr. Osborne notised the signs and had come and ripped them down. (he lives across the street) Shortly there after a Dover Township Police Officer had knocked on my door stating someone had broken a pipe in Mr Osbornes yard. Sadly enough, I had spoken to Mr. Osborne's land lord a few days earlier. (he accused me)
All pertaining documents are supplied along with this letter, I want my money to be returned to me personally by Mr. Don Osborne of NJ Rooter.
I have contacted the BBB, Asbury Park Press, News stations, Town Hall, and currently Consumer Affairs. With no luck I hope you'll get some answers.
Sincerely
