We were conned into the Direct Buy scam and their $200 restaurant gift certificates…
Restaurant.com Has a "promotional" giveaway for companies to use as a hook to entice customers, restaurant.com is the biggest scam because after you have your $50 gift certificate you have to find a restaurant that may accept it (most of them are out of stock) I don't know how you could be out of stock on a gift certificate - then you have to spend $100 if you have a $50 gift certificate there is a built in 18% gratuity. Totally misrepresented as "here's $200, have dinner on us" don't fall for it.
