"Lisa Langford" at CC Recovery "Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Executive in the Legal Department" is without exception the most unprofessional, unpleasant and vile person I have ever dealt with during what I thought would be a simple clarification of an invoice that was sent to CC Recovery for collection.
While I can prove that the debt that CC Recovery purchased was bogus and this can all be resolved quite simply. Was told that it didn't matter CC Recovery had bought the debt and "you will pay"
Local Yellow Directory could not talk to me as they sold the debt to CC Recovery.
I informed "Ms Langford" that our attorney advised us to respond once a summons was issued, we will make our case in court with our evidence. On a phone call was told by Ms Langford that it wouldn't go to court - "we don't need courts" and CC Recovery would get their money and destroy the credit of my family and business for 7 years 150%!
The invoice from Yellow Local Directory has a completely different price, the listing has us in a category as a Doctor & Surgeon - we are a sports club.
There seems to be only 2 persons in this "office" The esteemed Ms Lisa Langford and "Lily" the receptionist.
I was called a feminist who must be used to pushing around men, that I was a disgrace to the Queen as I am British (I am in fact from New Zealand) BTW both Ms Langford and "Lily" have distinctive Caribbean accents) I need medication, I need an attitude adjustment... There are so many more insults flung.
I am no angel in this. I looked up this company online and saw what has been posted. I was angry! 5 phone conversations and 2 emails form "Ms Langford" later there is no willingness to fix what I can prove to be a incorrect debt. The last email from "Ms Langford" was:
Dear Andrea,
Again I Beg You. Not to call back. EXCEPT TO PAY
Do what deems fit you you and your business we will be doing the same.
Your Attorney will be Happy for the $.

These people are bullies and use intimidation to get their way. "Yellow Local Directory" is also a scam and a sorry excuse for a business.
