What an ingenious Scam! I purchased this product for my wife who wasn't happy with the stuff she'd been using. She used the Dermalift for 3 to 4 months and said it didn't work. I notified Dermalift and cancelled the automated order. At that time I hadn't even requested a refund, I simply stopped the order. Big Surprise, They sent her another bottle. At that point I called their customer service and requested a refund. They told me in order to issue a refund I'd have to return the unopened bottle first. I said fine and asked them to send me a return shipping label. They informed me return shipping cost was my responsibility even though the order was sent without my authorization. This is just the beginning. I then paid to have the product that didn't work shipped back to the company that I didn't order from. I contacted the company several days after Delivery Confirmation indicated it had been received. They emailed me back stating their records indicated my CC had been credited the purchase price. I waited several more days. When the credit never posted to my account, I called them back again. I was then informed it could take up to 30 days for the credit to post, and that there was nothing they could do until the 30 days had passed per their policy. Notice a trend here? When I called them 34 days later they told me the credit had been issued according to their record but that they were a third party service and basically had no control over refunds and had no way of knowing if the credit had actually been issued or not. They then asked me to send copies of my credit card statements proving I hadn't been credited. I've never been asked to do this by any company before. So reluctantly, after removing delicate personal information from the bill, I forwarded the requested copies. Then I received an email on Nov. 14th informing me that Dermalift had refused to honor the credit which they processed and approved. They further stated I'd need to file a fraudelent claim with Master Card inorder to get my refund on the returned unoppened product. It isn't even the $69.95 that upsets me. I just have a very low tolerance for disreputable behavior. I would avoid this bunch like the Plague!
