I purchased a sofa for my living room at Carl's Furniture on 7/12/10 & it was delivered on 10/14/10. I reported the 3 cushions being too big & wrinkled and the skirt wrinkled in 11/10 to the Stuart store. After many calls, their upholster, Gene, came to assess the problem in Jan. He said he could fix the cushions and steam the skirt. But he had to go through channels. Soon after that, the Stuart store closed and the problem led me to the Coconut Creek store and Anita. She said it was store policy to order new cushions, so I accepted this offer. Finally, in March Anita said that one cushion came in, then they lost the others. New cushions were ordered, and supposedly on a dock in CA. Story after story and I still don't have the cushions. I have been very patient and probably naive, but I am now frustrated and aggravated. I sent a letter to the President of the company, Jeffrey Baker and have not heard from him either. I told him the saga and asked to return the sofa and return my money. Last week, I called his office and was directed to Laurie who was to take care of the issue. No word yet! I have made many phone calls to many people to no avail. Do I have any recourse? Thank you for your help.
