Mr. Tuba shut down the company with no warning to employees, in March. This left several employees stranded in various parts of the country, with company equipment and no further instructions or communication. 6 months later I have yet to recover my severance pay or personal items from company property. Mr Tuba has failed to return my phone calls or emails in regard to this. I'm still receiving phone calls from former employees, and other parties Mr. Tuba owes money too, (they're) attempting to recover money owed them as well.
Am I a disgruntled employee? No I just want to be treated fairly, and I want what I'm owed. This day and age companies can pretty much operate how they want with little recourse. If I stole from an employer I'd face legal ramifications, why aren't employers held to the same standard?
