I visited the Verizon store to discuss my bill. I was told that there was a charge of $14.95 from Enhanced Billing Services, Inc. I asked what was this for and they said they didn't know. I asked how did it get on my bill. They said it was a third party charge that they had nothing to do with. I asked how could they allow a third party to put a charge on my bill without my authorization and expect me to pay it. They said I'd have to check with the company to find out what the charge was for. I thought this was absolutely outrageous that a third part could add charges to my Verizon bill without Verizon contacting me and getting my authorization, and then Verizon expecting me to pay it as part of my Verizon bill.
