Our Verizon Fios Bill went up at the beginning of the year, and we assumed it was line charges, etc. After looking for a Hurricane Sandy credit this month, I noticed a charge buried on the 3rd page of our bill on the back. We usually just look at the front, pay the amount, etc. There was a monthly charge from iTech PC for $13.86. We called Verizon, they had no idea who it was or how they accessed our Verizon bill? What? A third party can charge my phone bill and I have to pay it? I called this company, ILD which is a billing company for iTech PC. They only do the billing for iTech PC, so you can't actually talk to anyone from iTech PC. I apparently asked a PC question online back in January at their website and they got my IP address and phone number and have used it to bill us the last 11 months for their services. ITech PC gave me a partial credit, but said I'd have to go back to Verizon for the rest. I would encourage everyone who has Verizon to put a third party block on your phone bill and to be very wary of looking for online PC help.
