Had a young man named Jeff come to my door in San Angelo, TX. He said that my property manager (and he named her) had sent him over to me and that I was a nice lady and that I might be able to help him. He said he was trying to win points to go to Italy and that he was raising money for The Wounded Warrior Project. He was doing this by selling magazines. The money goes to the project but the magazines go to a service member in the armed forces oversees. The points he would earn would depend on what type of magazine I order. He was very friendly and told me that he wanted to work with young people at a Juvinille Detention Center. He complimented me on my choice of magazine and proceeded to take my name and address and phone number. I had no reason to doubt my property manager so I wrote a check. A few minutes later I saw her and made a comment to her regarding his visit. She said she does not know who he is nor did she send anyone to my house, in fact, she does not even allow soliciting. She informed me that I was probably scamed. I cancelled my check and then as an after thought, googled the company. I immediately discovered that this company is a rip-off company and these people are scam artists. Please be advised!
