In July '11, I ordered a new HP Envy 100 AIOPrinter which w as determined to be defective (paper sensor). I requested that HP send me a new identical printer, but in October they sent me a refeurbished model, which evidently has the same defect. I have had tech support and been told to unplug the unit, wait 30 seconds and plug it in. It would work for a day or 2 and I would get the error message "Load the Paper tray". I think I took the paper out and replaced it at least 100 times and would get the same message. The last time it was working, I wwas trying to download an imoprovement on Adobe Reader and got this message, "The file is damaged and could not be repaired". This is extremely frustrating. I made the decision to but the new printer and also an HP 35 mm. Slide sorter, because I have de cided that I need to sort my late husband's slide collection. I am the only person left in this like of the family that can do this task and I need to get started. I am almost 87 years old and have macular degeneration which is progressive. I want you to send me a NEW PRINTER OF THE SAME MODEL. These last 2 printers have been inoperable so much of the time, that I have not even tried working with photos, or with the slide sorter. Time is of the essence.
