Refused to pay for merchandise received. Livelyhood of poor Mexican supporting families depended on it. Austin Internet

As the owner of a business that employs disadvantaged Mexican women, I am sorry to say that this institution which claims to champion the Mexican culture has done a huge disservice to poor women and their families who depend on them in Mexico.
The Mexic-Arte Museum Gift Shop has asked for a product that my company has handmade in Mexico by a number of these women. These women are paid once we receive payment. Although it was against my company's policy to send goods on consignment, the gal who ran the gift shop at the time assured us we would be paid when the items were sold.
After a number of changes in their staff, the bookeeper informed us that we were only owed $18.00 for a total of $150.00 in merchandise that was shipped to the gift shop. Whether the merchandise was lost, stolen, or otherwise disappeared, is not our fault or that of the women who worked hard to make these items.
Nice going Mexic-Arte Museum. I'll be sure to tell Veronica, Zaida, Alisia, Socorro, Eunice, and Rufino how they and others are championed in Austin, Texas U.S.A.By you.
