On 12/21/09 I applied for a scorecard as I was making some purchases for Christmas that exceeded $ 150. At the Moorpark, California store I was issued the card #425475909885 and purchased items in the amount of $ 186.58 which included two merchandise gift cards in the amount of $ 50 each... Total $ 100. I was informed that I did not qualify for the $ 50 promotion card back to me as it had to be merchandise and gift cards were not merchandise. If a merchandise gift card is not merchandise to be redeemed in your store for Dick's merchandise then explain to me what it is. This is absurd to say the least and defies explanation to a customer who choose Dick's and not some other outlet. Do the right thing and honor your advertisement with out gimmics and half truths.
