Refused to Cancel Protection Plan

I was not satsfied with their response to my sewer blockage and asked them to cancel my verbal (as they said) contract. I am 76 plus yrs old and my small pension is not enough to pay them $14.99 plus txs per mo. Since i can get the service free from my city. Please help!
