I took out an advance on my SSI from EZ Pawn in October for $160. The total repayment was to be $225 (6 monthly payments x $37.37 each), specifically stated to only be taken out of my account on the first of the month.
On two separate occasions, they deducted 2 charges from my account in one month (completely against contract).
Due to their deducting the extra, unauthorized monthly charge (4/29), my account was INF, causing my storage unit ACH monthly payment to be insufficient. The storage unit ended up closing my unit out & selling ALL of me & my children's belongings. Majority of these items are sentimental (from my deceased mom & grand mother) & irreplaceable (We lost at least $3,000 worth of things-computers, video games, systems, huge dvd collection, etc.).
Not to mention, this company also deducted 2 additional months of charges (past the repayment amount & date). They refuse to refund any of the monies owed & will not even listen to me about the storage unit. (The only way I stopped the charges from being deducted from EZ Pawn was to notify my bank that the charges past the date were no longer authorized).
If someone can please help with this, I would be forever grateful! (As it is, I don't have the heart to tell my kids that all of their stuff is gone!).
