I spent the better part of an hour last Saturday on-line with a Sears service tech stationed God knows where, explaining that my dishwasher wouldn't stop running and was about to flood my house. After a disgusting number of pleases and thank-yous from him, I was told that I needed a fill valve replaced and that they would have a service tech at my house today between 9 & 5. (Way to narrow it down, by the way!) In the meantime, after having to shut down water to my entire house for a day before a plumber could come out and disconnect the water going into the dish washer, I've been washing dishes by hand for our family of seven. Well, today the tech shows up. Hooray, right? Wrong. He talks to me for about 10 seconds and tells me that I need a new fill valve, which I already knew, because the Pakistani I spoke to online last week told me that. He doesn't have one. He says he can't get one for another week and a half! Am I on Candid Camera or something? I cannot believe a company like Sears has fallen so far. Please make this right, in a hurry. I have a big mouth and complain to a lot of people who don't have to shop at Sears or Kmart.
