We were sold on new solar insulation by State energy conservation. They told us that the installation of thier solar insulation would keep our house cooler and woudl reduce our energy bill each month by a minimum of $60.00per month. We had this installed in February and we have not seen any saving as promised. FPL has come out to the house and did an energy inspection and told us the State Energy's claims of saving were false and that we would not nor ever see the savings they had promised. When we got in touch with the salesman who sold us the insulation he was no longer with the company and told us to sue them. State Energy sent out a quality control man who turned out to be the owners son and had no idea how to solve our porblem. He borught s coupon for $250.00. Like that will help on a $7000.00 bill.
We have tried to get State Energy to work with us but since they have their money and we are stuck with a bank note, they refuse to get back in touch with us. I have also reprted them to the BBB and wiaitng to hear back from them as well.
What we wnat is for State Energy to work with us to make it affordable to have their system in our house. If they cannot, it needs to be removed and we wioll not have any cost incurred to our family.
