On July 22, I was issued a life insurance policy by United American Insurance Company. Becoming award of rumors of unscupulous action and scams by this company, I decided to request the cash value of my policy on the date of Aug. 4 which was about $1400. When I called the office, I was told by an operator that they had closed the account and mailed me a check in an amount about $1400 on Aug. 11. I personally think that I am being given the "run around" in an attempt not to pay me what is due me. It only take mail two to three days to reach my address from their headquarters. The only communication I have received is a statement requesting a premium due, but all of my payments was made by an automatic payment plan until my request for a cash value payment.
