I was in the middle of changing policy due to my husbands work obtaining a new group policy. However, I had had some testing done. So I called the primary office of United American Health insurance to ask first the status of my account, then to see if even though that payment had not been paid. Under the 30 day grace period was the work I had done about two weeks before was covered. I was told yes. About two weeks after I received a letter stating that because I had canceled, the work would not be covered. I had actually had a problem with the initial agent. I received the policy in Utah and was sick. I left the copies of the policy and papers I had signed in Utah so I called the agent to ask for new copies. After a while the call said that a policy had been sent to me from the office.By then my thirty days to review the policy had passed.
